The Best Listeners and The Happiest Hours

The time has for the fourth installment of the Sundown at SOVA: a music series focused on creating an evening where friends can listen to music together, catch up on life and have a space to simply “be.”
Joining me this month is an amazing singer/songwriter, Mark Austin, whose story telling and incredible guitar skills will be a treat for all who catch his set.
Nila Kay and I met a few years ago at the wonderful local art, music extravaganza ARTOMATIC. Her originality, grove, and style were standout in a building full of art, and I am so pleased she can join this show.
Poet JUSME has graced our stage once before, and I think all I need to say is that the last time he spoke to us, he received a larger applause then any other artist that evening.
And ZELOS, one of DC’s rising rock bands, will give us a unique striped down version of some of their newest songs—which will be coming out on a new album sometime this Winter. I really love their lyrical depth, and am so looking forward to their set.
If you’ve been trying to make it to a show, I would for sure come to this one. I will only be doing a few songs at middle of the show, but the other acts are totally worth it. And … I have a few friends coming as surprise guest performers, which is amazing!
